Location Shots Filmed in Grassington

Playground Films  decided to film their location shots for  the new series of “All Creatures Great and Small” in Grassington. They had good reasons for their choice: our picturesque village has changed little from the 1930’s, when the film was set. Indeed, it hasn’t changed much since the 1700’s!  Local  businesses were keen to cooperate, and residents and businesses welcomed them warmly.

Shop fronts were changed, period props were thrown in, and for a few weeks Grassington was transported to a bygone age, throwing the locals into a frenzy of nostalgia!

What will James make of Darrowby? And what will the residents think of him? Here's a look at episode one of All Creatures Great and Small. #ACGAS
